Following the huge success of our inaugural festival in 2017, this year’s line-up is sure to provoke even more debate. We have extended the style and artistic genre of the festival to include some of the world’s most dramatic artists.
The public will be offered the opportunity of a lifetime to become part of internationally renowned Spencer Tunick’s work, which has been described as “a truly tribal experience”. It is bound to test some people’s boundaries but is not something to be missed.
As well as showcasing some of Australia’s top artists, PROVOCARÉ is proud to host many of our incredible emerging visual and performing artists, whose works will be spread throughout our wonderfully eclectic precinct.
PROVOCARÉ is guaranteed to be the perfect antidote to shed those winter blues. I not only encourage you to join us as we celebrate this year’s festival, but also to take the time to explore many unique cafes, bars, and retail businesses – all within walking distance of our events. Spend the day or the weekend on Chapel Street – there’s always plenty to see and do!
